Multi resource scheduling heuristics SAP_MULT_SCH error

Hello Experts,

We have a business requirement to setup DS scheduling in a PP-PI scenario with multiple production lines(3) for one product. Every line has a separate production version with different production times (3 PDS).Every production version (PDS) has one operation with two phases (setup and produce).

So, we are trying to use the SAP_MULT_SCH heuristic but it's not working as planned. The heuristic is not rescheduling on alternate PDS when we have multiple orders on the same day. It is not returning any error/warning messages in the log.We expect the system to automatically and evenly distribute scheduled orders across the three different production versions

The same happens with me. Both cases: alternative modes created via classification and also created via alternative sequence in the routing.

Hi , Can i know why you have created multi activity resource ? Also as far as I know this heuristics works only with MultiMode (alternate lines using classification).If you have GR time for the products, better to review the period settings in the heuristics.

If you have a single mixed resource, alternate modes defined (using classification) and the correct periods defined in the heuristic settings this heuristics reschedules the orders correctly.
