MSS Reports Error

Hi Experts,

I am getting follwoing error, while accessing MSS reports. Is their any configuration require in SAP before using MSS services on portal. Would appreciate your prompt guidance.

My error is as below :

500 Internal Server Error

SAP NetWeaver Application Server 7.00/Java AS 7.00

Failed to process request. Please contact your system administrator.

Root Cause

The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:

Yep...your second option...under the Business Package path....but keep in mind, like ESS, MSS is reliant on configuration in other areas (OM for example).

There is a LOT of configuration required before they just magically work in the portal. You need to review all of the backend configuration under the MSS section.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your reply. Can you please guide me, where I can do all this settings ? Is it under Personnel Management -> Employee Self-Service or Integration with Other mySAP.com components ->Business Packages/Functional Packages ->Manager Self-Service(mySAP-ERP)
