MSS Record Working Time on behalf of Employee

Hello,

We are implementing MSS on Portal and want to let the Managers enter Time on Employee's Behalf. I found the Role->MSS ,Instance ->EMPLOYEE_MENU in LPD_CUST , and created an iview on Portal using the Record Working Time Application,configuration name and Target Application Parameter. The Timesheet displays on Portal for the Manager but where and how would the Manager enter the Personnel number of the employee for whom he is entering the time ?

Any help would be highly Appreciated.

No need of entering the employee number in on-behalf of applications.

You just have to maintain the parameter PERNR_MEM_ID in LPD_CUST for that application parameters.

When Manager click on this application from MSS-Home page automatically selected employee pernr will get passed to this application.

How is the Selected Employee passed to the on-behalf Application. From the Team View as a Manager I double-clicked on a employee, but it did not get transferred.

this is standard functionality can you show the screenfrom where you doing it? Application            HRESS_A_CATS_1 can you show your lpd_cust settings

Actually I created an iview on Portal pointing to the Application : HRESS_A_CATS_1, Application Configuration : HRESS_AC_CATS_1, Application Parameters : PERNR_MEM_ID.

When the Manager goes to this iview he should be able to enter a Personnel number for whom to enter Time or the Personnel number should get transferred to the iview once he navigates from the Team View Page as mentioned above , but I don;t see a way for the Manager to Select the Employee on the Home Page -> Team View.

Please advice.

i dont have pernr_mem_id in my target application parameters can you try as below SUBST_CLASSIFICATION=NO_CLASS,SAP_LEAVE

Found the Related Links section under Employee Information -> Employee Profile where the Manager can enter time on employee's behalf

Hi Rohit,

We are facing one issue with Related Activity links for on behalf of EE applications from MSS. We are unbale to get the employee data from Related Links, we are retrieving the data of manager instead of employee. Can you please provide guidelines to fix thei issue.

We have the below configurations parameters provided in LPD_CUST MSS Related_Activity. In debugging we have observed thatCL_HRESS_EMPLOYEE_SERVICES->GET_INSTANCE method not reading the on behalf pernr value as pernr_mem_id is blank .We are not sure why the Pernr_Mem_ID getting filled blank value.

Tha same Pernr_Mem_ID getting filled from the LPD_CUST MSS Employee_Profile but not form Related_Activity.
