MRS requirements profiles are not visible in Work order operation

Hi,

I am using MRS Qualifications to setup MRS Application.

I have created employee &  requirement profiles in MRS. Next step is assign this newly created requirement profiles in work order operations so that system can search qualified employees in planning board.  There must be  a way to transfer these MRS requirement profiles in ECC so that we can assign them on Work order operations.  so far i have tried a lot but couldn't find any tcode or report.

Let me know if you know a way to get  MRS  requirement  profiles in ECC work orders.

Hi Amit

First of all, as MRS requirements profiles have more complicated functionality thanb HR Requirements Profiles, to my knowledge, there is not a standard program to copy MRS requirements profiles back to HR.

In PM, you can use standard HR qualifications with MRS. (Not with PS. If you have PS, you need to switch on MRS Qualifications/Requirements Profiles.)

Have you applied the OSS note: 1380802?

After this note, you should be able to view another Requirements Profile (for MRS ones only) field in task List operations and Order operations.

Thanks a lot for your response & time, appreciate it.

Please confirm below if I have understood it correctly.

1.  We would be able to use MRS Requirements/Qualification in SAP PM work orders after implementation of OSS note 1380802. Because it adds another "Requirement Profile" fields in order & Task list Operation.

2.  HR qualification can not be used for SAP PS networks. We would have to setup MRS qualifications.

Hi Amit

I do not have an MRS system in front of me at the moment but, that OSS note should be fully implemented in order to have PM/CS integration. Otherwise you will not be able to integrate MRS with PM/CS.

Now, in that OSS note, it refers to another note which even in my personnal notes was a crucial one, which is 1138507. Although that note has been recommended to me by OSS, it seems that it has not been released (or probably has been taken back) by OSS. That specific referred note is on MRS - Requirements profile in MRS. So please write it to OSS as in one of the active notes, 1138507 has been referred. And please share the result with us.

Now about your question 2, yes! MRS for PS does not work with standard HR Requirement profiles. You need to switch on MRS requirements profile. (I am not sure about latest versions of MRS but this was the case for 8.0.) MRS for PS works different from MRS for PM as you need to switch on a custom tab for PS Networks as well.

But as, we do not have enough SCN input for MRS, please update the thread with your input if you find a resolution on that OSS note or on the issue.

First of all thanks a lot for your attention and time.

I checked the note, seems like note was taken back. I am setting up a demo system where I don't think I am gonna need to raise an OSS note with SAP at least for now. I can just work with Work orders and HR qualifications. but i would let you and forum know if we ever decide to take that with SAP.

Your findings are correct and valid for MRS 10.0 as well.  PS need MRS qualification.
