hi all,

can anybody tell me if materials can be included or excluded from mrp based on spli valuation. For eg,if a material is with split valuation as defect,will that be made to get excluded from mrp?

Please help me out with your ideas

Dear Karthick,

In my understanding there is no relationship between split valuation and MRP.

Split valuation comes into picture during costing and during goods movement posting.

Check and revert back with your exact queries.

There is no way. Why cant you maintain the defective material in in one storage location and remove that storage location from MRP run.

Hi,

Put the MRP Type as ND(No planning)in Material Master MRP1 tab page for the material which is having split valuation. This is the field by which you can control whether the material will be considered in MRP run or NOT.

Hi,

You are not able to make the separation for MRP by the type of valuation.

I suggest you to create a separate storage location that is not subject to MRP using OMIR & MMSC and post that defect material to that particular store.
