   what will happen if i not maintain MRP type in MRP views?

Dear,

MRP type in MRP1 view is mandatory field if you have to run the MRP you need to have valid MRP type.

If you are not using the Material requirements planning you can have the MRP type as ND.

Hi Vijith,

MRP type is the primary ingrediant for MRP operation. without MRP type it is not possible to plan and execute the requirement of material. please refer to the below link.

A MRP type designated to the material explains whether the material is allowed to go through material requirement planning and if the MRP type allows material requirement planning, it explains the type of material planning that is required for the given material at a given plant.

If you want to run MRP then you need to maintain MRP type.

Yes it is mandatory to maintain MRP type in MRP view in order to use MRP.

Yes it is mandatory to maintain MRP type in MRP view if you are using MRP, If you are not using MRP then maintain ND (No planning) as MRP type in MRP view.
