Hello Vijay,

The mandatory fields you need mantain are all MRP views in material master with valid MRP type normally "PD".

You can run MRP from MD03 (for single item)

MD02 ( for complete BOM)

MD01 and MDBT (at plant level).

The controle parameters should be:

Procesing key: NETCH

Create PR/PO: 1

Create schedule lines: 3

create MRP list: 1

planning mode: either 1 or 3

Scheduling: 1

In process parameters do not check "simulation mode"

Scheduling means creating the planned dates for procurement proposals (planned order or Purchase requisations).

schedule lines will be created if you have valid scheduling agreement with source list during MRP otherwise you always create manually.

If this helpful please rewards your points...

Hi,

MD01 for a full run by plant

MD02 and MD03 to run MRP for one material.

All fields are mandatory and they have defaults that are normally OK depending on what you want to do.

Hi,

Thanks for the points they are always welcome.

Schedule lines relate to purchase orders and vendor scheduling agreements. They list the individual dates that you have asked for deliveries relating to the item on the document. Schedule lines can be entered manually or if you set up MRP correctly the schedule lines for a VSA can be generated automatically.

Scheduling in the broad terms normally refers to the calculation of dates (delivery dates) using the known lead times both external (such as vendor lead times) and internal (such as Goods receipt processing times etc.)

On the MRP screen the flag for scheduling indicates if you want MRP to do full calculation of the lead times etc. (option 2) or if you just want to use the basic data from the MRP view of the material master for the replenishment lead times (option 1)

Option 1 is quicker, option 2 is more accurate.

Cheers
