When running the MRP wizard in periods of 1 week, the column titles result in "0" for each column.

Using 8.82 PL04.

Try a shorter period by week to see.

Gordon,

I tried a 4-week period and that worked!

I wonder what the limit is.

Thanks.

Your put too long duration that will use too much resources (RAM etc.). You can find out the boundary by increase little by little.

To select a Weekly view, you should define holidays under Administration → System Initialization → Company Details → Accounting Data → Holidays.

Hi Alan,

Have you tried by month?

Thanks,

Hi Gordon,

By month works.

Just as an update, this installation is PL04, not PL06 as previously stated.

Hi Allan,

I am afraid the column title is 0 because your MRP run include forecast and your forecast is set monthly.

You may try to exclude forecast and check if the issue still persists or not

Hi Jimmy,

I tried removing the forecast and get the same results. I built a forecast by weeks and tried using that and I get the same results.

Hi Alan,

It means that  there is nothing wrong with your MRP and SAP B1.

So, I suggest you to use forecast and others and then set more than one week period if one week period is not important for you.

Hi Alan,

Have you checked the result for more than 1 week periods ?

Did the column title result in '0' too ?

Check if this issue is also happened in other period or not.

Also check the planning range. Did you select within planning horizon or include horizontal data.

if possible, pls attach the MRP wizard steps 2, 4, 5 screen shots here

Hi,

I've seen that the column titles are zero. I am afraid it is program error. You must upgrade to the latest PL of  SAP B1 8.82, i.e. PL08 to make sure if the column's title are still zero or not. If the columns still zero, you must raise a ticket to sap support.

Rgds,

Jimm
