Dear all,
I have a problem using MRP...
The production area of my customer works from Monday to Saturday (calendar1)
The Purchase office works from Monday to Friday (calendar2)
I need to create MRP scenario based on production calendar1 and purchase calendar2.
Does it exist a workaround to use two different calendars in MRP, one for production and one for purchasing?
I need to create MRP forecast, where production orders can have DocDate from Monday to Saturday and purchase orders with DocDate from Monday to Friday.
Regards
Emanuele
Dear Emanuele,
MRP is designed for only one calendar. In your case, you may use production calendar for both. For any POs fall to Saturday, create your PO with one day in advance. MRP only generates order recommendation. The final decision is by user.
Thanks,
Gordon
