MRP firmed requisition

We have approval at purchase requisition level. The requisition are always firmed . We want to delete the firmed requisition by MRP once the demand was fulfilled

Please check your configuration, once the requisition is converted to PO, system itself will delete the PR. There is no need to delete it manually or by MRP.

Hi,

MRP Cannot delete Firmed Requsitions. Firmed Requsition once it is converted to PO it will not be available on screen. If you want to delete firmed PR's manually you have to delete them.

Thanks for your response. this are STO requisition .

We are directly creating the STO , Some times for transferring the demand we are making the requisition firmed . Is their any other way we can delete it by MRP other than manually deleting .

MRP does not delete firmed requistions. So all firmed requisitions have to be deleted manually. Alternatively if there is no need for these requisitions, then just untick the firmed indicator & run MRP with Planning mode as 3 & then MRP run will delete these requisitions.

Hi,

MRP does not delete firmed requisitions, what you can do is check in MEMASSRQ if you can find the field for firming, here you can mass change the field, i.e. unfirm the requisitions.

MRP will then be able to delete those requisitions if no requirements exist for the same.
