MPNs in Material Master Screen

Hi All,

We have MPN's for several internal materials.. I created MPN materials A and B with Mat Type HERS and added the internal material X

Now, where can I see the MPN materials attached to material X in mm02/ mm03 transactions?

After that u go to PR, PO check in material tab select F4 and choose MPN mat .

system shows all MPN materials. if ur not maintain in MP 01 system will not shows in trancation data,..........

and more than one MPN number not visible in material master.

if material having mutiple MPN material numbers u should maintain in MP01 is correct proces

I think u only create mat with HERS mat type . but not mainatined in MP01 . first u maintain all MPN mat in MP01.

then check ur processs

In MP01 - Int mat.no - xyz enter

here u maintian all MPN mat

Mpn mat - 123,456,789,741 and each manfaucturer and plant and vailid dates.

first u should maintain here .

system shows all MPN mat numbers.

Hi Sivasankar,

I checked the transaction MP01, entered the internal material number , but it showed a blank list.. the MPN details were not shown.. Do I need to do any other settings?..

Also anywhere in Material Master screen, can we see the MPN numbers (more than one MPN)
