Dear all
Can anybody explain me the following phenomena. I have 3 materials, X, Y & Z . X is child component of Y and Y is child componenet of Z. I have BOM accordingly. Materials are externally procured. All the materials have V as price indicator.
When I issue the Material Z against 261 movt. type(order) the goods issue is happening at Std. price of the material which is automatically updating it self in material master. I have never updated the std price as i am maintaining V , so the system should have taken the V price as that is what is gettign updated during each GR. But it is only picking STd. price? IN which other activity( movt type) it will pick std price and wher it will pick V., pls. clarify the behaviour.

Hi
If a material is internally produced (BOM exists), then we will maintain standard cost estimate for that material. Check accounting view for the material in MMR, standard cost estimate has been maintained or not/ check CK13n for cost estimated is prepared for it.
Thanks

Hi Samual,
I hope you have missed to update the materrial master of Z item as moving average price...
system wont change the price contro... and for the valuation purpose it will take the price from the material master only....
Can u please create the materrila and check in your system again....!!!! for your clarification...
Regards
Anand
