Movement 541 should alow only if po having a balance qty.

Hi All,

I would like have information /details about movement type 541 subcontact against po

is possible to do but if we are not refering To Order it is not considering the po and the balance item at the PO. I mean i am able to do the movement 541 even if there is no

item in the particular PO and also i am unable to do the migo with the same PO.

I need as the system should take the item only available in the po at the time of movement

it we suggesting to do the option To Order the end user not cooperative.

Hello Krishnamoorthy,

If you want to force user to transfer the material with 541 against purchase order only then you need to make purchase order field mandatory in MIGO for 541 mvt type in OMJJ transaction code.

Also check out whether you can use the user exit MB_CF001, if yes, then here you can put the valiation for material used in 541 with PO material.

Thanks for your reply,

We already made it as PO is mandatory for movement 541 but during the

transaction the system is not verify the po for balance qty or item. It is allowing us

to do the transaction even if there is no particular line item and also balance. I mean to say

I am able to do the movement 541 with referring the PO but the po does not have the

same item at all. But during the MIGO it is requesting the PO because the po does not

contain the either line item or balance qty for existing line item.

Hi

This is the standard behaviour of system. You do not need even a subcontracting PO to issue goods to subcontractor on 541.

You need to use user exit MBCF0002 (EXIT_SAPMM07M_001) to restrict this behaviour.
