Modify the Financial Review booklet

Hi Experts,
Has anyone been able to modify and save the hierarchies selected for the Group Reporting financial review booklet?
As per the GR help (link below), I made a copy of the review booklet (Manage KPIs and Reports) and accessed the Review Booklet designer. I expected to find a place to view and replace the hierarchy setting.

However, it seems it may be part of the CDS view, which I don’t want to access or modify.

The GR help link below says you can use your own hierarchy – which makes sense. The Review booklets are based on the BS and PL default hierarchie

s. The other option is to change these hierarchies. However, these are the Best Practice hierarchies (BS an PL) and cannot be modified by design – only add nodes – can’t delete nodes etc.

I created and activated new customer specific hierarchies (DIP_BS and DIP_PL) and would like to use these.
Help reference:
Modify GR Review Booklet – says can create your own hierarchies.

Creating a review booklet

Attaching a screenshot of location where the hierarchy is displayed and node but not hierarchy can be changed.

Any help would be great.
Thanks

Hi Eyal,
you find in the review booklet variables, which are on booklet level (in the filter bar) and more page specific variables are defined and changed on page level.
The FS Item hierarchy as well as the reporting item hierarchy can be changed on page level.
So when you run your booklet you have to open the side panel called page filters.
Here you can change the hierarchy ID as well as filter the hierarchy nodes you want to see on your page.
hope this helps?

Kind Regards Stefan

Hello Stefan, is there a way to save the selected hierarchies on page level? Creating a view won't show the selected hierarchies on page level after re-opening the view that has been created.

That's not it. You need to apply below SNOTE to your system. Only this helped in our case. https://me.sap.com/notes/3520907/E

Thanks, ilter_yilmazli. We implemented the SNOTE, it still doesn't work. I think this is something for SAP development support.

v_23 this happened to us as well and we replicated some steps again and it fixed. Maybe you can try as well.

1- De-implement 3418650 and 3520907 together

2- Run SAP_BW_SETUP_INITIAL_S4HANA in the background from STC01 TCODE (SNOTE 3463494)

3- Implement 3418650 and 3520907 again
