MM17 MARC-VRMOD

Hi gurus,

I'm trying to udpate field MARC-VRMOD via MM17, but I got MG160 error message, and the DB has not been update.

Material master data is maintained for the plant, and for MRP1 - MRP2 views too.

Can anybody help me?

have you been in the detail of the application log?

I can see this message as well, but the level of this message is relevant:

this message is related to the action Trying to CREATE

the message for the action: trying to CHANGE is just

Material changed.

the Badi that is executed when you process MM17 can do 2 things in one go, it can create and it can change.

Check in your material master if it is updated, see the change log of material master.

my log is the following:

The material cannot be maintained since no maintainable data transferred

Trying to change: WCXXX0000113185 0201 ____ ____ __________ ____ __ ___ ___

No changes made

And in fact the change log of material master doesn't show any change.

MARC-VRMOD is a field in MRP 3.

Ciao Jeevan,

I see that field clearly in MRP 2 view (from MM03).

MRP 3 view is not available for that material type (I should change customizing to see it).

What do you suggest?
