Hi Gurus,
When we create material with MM01, it brings a screen having an industry sector and material type. Both of they provide description for industry sector and material type. We have many material types with same description but we can't see material type and we can see same material descriptions so we can't pick up right material type.
Can anyone suggest me a settig that I can view industry sector along with description and material type along with material type description?
Thanks in advance
RajaRam

Dear Rajaram,
You can generate list of material vide transaction code MM 60.
In this list you will get all details as you wish.Infact you can select your own layout & field you want. You can export this list in local excel file.
You can even see material type & industrial sector in MM03 at the basic data on the right side of material description box on clicking icon " i"
I hope this will solve your issue.
if useful reward points,
