Missing B1 Object Upon upgrade 8.8.1 PL9

Hi,

I just moved the B1i database to a test server and went through the setup process .

I'm facing the following problems :

1. I do not see any of the Scenarios I've created on my old system.

2. The new b1i opens one window now instead of 4 tabs . after getting used to the "4 tabs" view I was trying to get to the 4 tabs view with this link :

http://localhost:8080/B1iXcellerator/exec/dummy/com.sap.b1ip.system.cc/bfd/Launcher.bfd?!defdoc=../....

3. other than that I can't really find the object list like I used to on the old system to see all the b1 object list and the representing object id.

is there an import i'm missing ?

Thanks for your fast reply.

I looked through the link you've provided.

It contains some references and an upgrade readme attchment.

I already followed the administrator's guide and uninstalled the B1if before installing the 8.8.1 upgrade.

when I performed the upgrade I provided the same database (as the old b1if had)

but now I see no scenarios, and when I'm approaching to build one I cannot find the sap business one objects , drafts , invoice , delivery etc etc.

Hi,

if you trying to upgrade a B1iSN system into B1if, that will not work.

B1iSN and B1if are different solutions, you can't reuse the old B1iSN database for B1if.

In B1if there are no B1 objects and publication objects needed, anymore.

Without any migration it's not possible to activate B1iSN integration scenarios on B1if.

You need to redesign your integration scenarios to make them work on B1if, but with a few adjustments the main BIU is reusable.

Hi Nadav,

You can still use B1iSN but you cannot install B1iSN and B1iC in the same machine.
