MF50-hiding production version

Hi

Is there any user specific settings inside MF50- to hide the some production versions.

For example I have X,Y and Z production versions. X does not have any data and I want to hide this in MF50.

I could see X only when we use some user ids.

Can anybody help on this.

Hi Ranga,

From MF50 go to View and select Hide...Production line (before this select the production version). The production verison of the production line will not avialable.

In user settings you must have "other versins" check box enabled.

Hi Tajuddin,

I know i can hide in the way you said.But I want to hide permanently ie when user enter the MF50 he should not see the other version.

In user settings even though other versions are checked still I am getting other versions.

Also it happens to particular user id and not for others

Ranga,

To my knowledge this is not possible in STD SAP... work with an ABAP person to see whether enchancement "LMDZU001" helps to achieve what you want.

Hi ranga,

Permanenet hiding of production version in not possible because the production versions are mandatory for MF50 transaction. without maintaining production versions you cannot maintain MF50 and perform the changes to the production schedule.

Thanks for all the reply.

This can be done by activating the line overview in control data tab in initial screen of MF50 transaction and after excluding the lines without version (while selecting the production line).

Hi Ranga,

Why can't you define that particular production version is to be locked for any usage in the production version itself.Try this option.
