Dear Colleagues,

I want to be able to extract the selected(highlighted) lists after the "find" selection results have been produced.

When I go to "print" the selction of results there, includes the unfiletred results,whcih are useless to users.

Any solutions/ turnarounds?

Hi PAP1:

If you select download to excel file option directly from ALV screen ,

SAP gives information message that :

Filter criteria, sorting, totals and subtotals are

not taken into account

and gets total results in excel file.

Try below and check:>

1.Go to Printoption in MD06 from menu.

2. Alv will be dipalyed with all materials.

3.Apply filter criterion and select the materials you need.

4. Go to Local Files->Download to spreadhseet.

5. This should give you only filfter materials in spreadsheet instead of all of them.

....How would you know what materials to apply the filter to (as these are filtered from the previous screen),i.e. before you go to "print"

Hi ,

Do not select anything on traffic light screen of MD06. Directly go for print list option and apply your filter criterion there.

Hi,

Still no joy Iam afraid.

On the very first screen on MD06,the only fileds that have been filled (tcked) in are: Plant,Exceprion group:7,All MRP Lists ,then I execute and I get 393 materials with such criteria.

After that,whichever way I choose to go with...either with your recommendation (i.e. go straight to print and so on...) or by filtering further through "find" and choosing EG:7 & EM:20( both constraints),then when I have obtained 166 materials with such selections,I go to "print" and so on....I don't get the options to apply any similar criteria,so that I can reobtain the 166 materials that users want to extract to excel...

Any clues Santosh?

Use CntrlshiftF9 for local file option in print list variable screen

Use Contrl + F5 for filtering on print ALV.

Hi Santosh,

I have tested your suggestion.

After I get the filter (by pressing Ctrl F5) I get prompted to choose values of (say messages of exemption groups) but not all values are listed there,i.e. for exemption group 6,we use 9 messages (10,27,27,30,40,56,60,70,96) but on the filter,only 4 values are listed there(1-4w which we don't know what values they represent also).This is the case for all exception groups...the filter only has 4 values to choose from.

As a result of the above the highlighted results on the previous screen aren't the same after applyting the filter on the "Print list-Variable" screen.

For your efforts though,I've granted points.

Any clues to the above?

Hi,

I think your original query of downlaoding only required data has been answered completely. Now what you face is your data issue.

I am not sure if I understand completely what si your problem now?

May be you can upload screen shot of the process you are following on google docs and share the link in forum..

To meet your need MD06 would not help. Write a Z program using BAPI_MATERIAL_MRP_LIST.

In your custom program you can have the option on filtering on the specific messages & exporting them to excel.

Hi Santosh,

The highlighted lists on MD06 aren't exactly the same with the ones showing on the "print variable list" screens (after applying the filter as you recommended) therefore the question isn't fully answered,as the results are only partly correct.On the highlighted screen,I got 166 materials with such results.But on the print variable screen,after I applied the filter,I don't get this amount of materilas.

Basically,the values on the excemption groups aren't listed on the filter,on the "print variable list " screen...

By queries if you meant SQVI or Infoset based, then nope it would not help.
