dear gurus,

Can anybody explains what are all the things we can do in MD06.In MD06 i am able to find several traffic lights,set processed indiacter,Indicator: new exception in the MRP list,SUPPLYand various dates.

Can any body explains the significance of this

Hi Guna,

MD06 is used for collective display of MRP lists.Using this we can find out MRP run failures based on MRP controller,exeception groups on a particular MRP run date or in the period.

Hi,

Yes, there are number of things are there in MD06.

1. Traffic lights: You can define the Use-specific Traffic lights in the menu bar " Define Traffic lights"

To define this you need to have understanding on Day's supply concept.

For this you can have the F1 help.

2. Processing Indicator: For our reference after working out on the materials we can select the processed indicator.

3. Exception Groups: The numbers which are indicated are the Exception Mesage Groups. Here the system cubls together the exception messages.

For more details on Exception Grops you can have a look at Exception groups in the Menu Bar.

Rest of the things are self explanatory.

But one thing is to effectively use MD06, one needs real good understanding of the planning.
