MD04 Planned Orders for dependent requirements not created after a certain date

Hi Community,

We are facing the following situation:

There is a finished part xxx for which we have set up the forecast via strategy group 40.

MRP for this finished part runs as needed.

A BOM is created for the finished part. The BOM contains components (purchased parts) and assemblies.

This BOM is also correctly exploded and requirements are transferred to the components and assemblies.

But we are currently facing the following issue:

The purchased parts procured externally get the dependent requirements exploded from the finished part for the years 2022, 2023 and 2024. Planned orders/LA are then created.

For the sub-assemblies, however, only the dependent requirements from the finished part will be created in 2022, 2023 and 2024, but no more planned orders/LA will be created in 2024 (these will only be created from 2022 to the end of 2023).

Taking a look at the order report for corresponding planned orders, we can find the error message: "40 Coverage not provided by masterplan".

What is the cause of this behaviour? How can we make sure that planned orders are created also for 2024?
