we need to create report by MCEC according to weekly period

The MCEC transaction is an analysis of S012 info structure, which is typically set to monthly period. You can change the period unit of the info structure in the OMO2 transaction. Just bear in mind, that such a change will wipe out all the statistical data that is already accumulated in the info structure. Thus the statistical data will have to be refreshed.

i want to do this change just for using in MCEC

please advise me if i change customizing in OMO2 , dose it have any side effect in other area in MM or FI/CO modules ?
