MB25 giving wrong results

Hi experts

System is not deleting the reservation documents automatically even the document creation date is more than 30 days. while, my settings in SPRO-Materials Mnagement-Inventory Management and Physical Inventory-Reservation-Define Default Values-Plant is as under;

Mvt check box is ticked

Days m field has value as 10

Rete field has value as 30

MRA check box is ticked

When I am taking report in MB25 for open reservations, those reservations are also appearing whose creation date is more than 30 days.

Please help if there is some configuration issue.

In MB25 you can tick the open reservation and execute u get the both type of reservation like manually or system generated (like production order) u can filter manual reservation  using reservation status M.

And Tcode MBVR For only for Manage to delete the manual reservation.

And Be care full MBVR which deleting some of reservation for the same it' s removing from table RESB.

As such there is no such transaction to mass set deletion flag RESB-XLOEK to reservation.

So You can use BADI or BDC program for mass set deletion flag in reservation.

Check to use t.code: MBVR or run RM07RVER Program , select check box of  deletion ind/delete reservation and execute for a specific baseline date to delete auto reservation.

Thanks for the reply. We are doing the same currently. But the issue is why the reservation documents are not getting deleted automatically after 30 days.

Only manually created reservations can be deleted with MBVR, all automatic created reservations have to be deleted from the same application which created them.

Thanks for the reply. Considering the following SPRO config, please help answering following two queries;

MRA check box is ticked

1. So, based on the above config settings, system will not delete the reservation after 30 days and we only through transaction MBVR, the reservation document with requiremment date prior to current date - 30 days will marked for deletion. If yes, please suggest whether a background job can be scheduled for automatic closure of such reservation documents.

2. What is the procedure for deletion of reservation documents created with reference to Production Order, Plant Maintenance order and WBS element (project).

a background job will not do anything different than a foreground execution.

you have to close your production and maintenance orders by making them technical complete TECO or closed CLSD
