Maximum condition value-issue

Hi

we have mantained maximum conditin value for condition type, the issue is cumulative value is not appearing correctly for billing value. for reference we check cumulative value at VK12 > Extras> Cumulative value> and select billing value.

We are not getting correct billing value, while we can get correct value for sale order, the biling value is not appering correctly when we have batch split items in delivery.

Ex. if condition type ZRPM have $1000 value at header level for one line items, then this 1000 value should appear in cumulative values(billing value). but, due to batch split it becomes 3 line items in billing, and we can see correct value at header level with $1000 in invocie but if we check the cumulative values at condition record then it multiplied 3 times. means 1000*3 = 3000 value are updated in cumulative value. that is incorrect.

could you please suggest if we have SAP note for the same

Hi,

Please refer to the following part from note 615370

C) Copying of condition / billing document:

You should also note that no condition update is carried out for billing

documents (documents with document category 'MNOPSU56', field VBTYP).

If conditions now exist in a document that have a reduced condition

basis or a reduced condition value due to a condition update, these are

copied, without changes, to a billing document if, when copying, the

system uses a pricing type that does not redetermine the relevant

condition type.

However, once a new pricing type is triggered in the billing document

that is created, resulting in the system redetermining the relevant

condition type, the condition basis and the condition value are

determined in accordance with the condition update without taking the

upper limits into account.

I hope this could help you understand the system behavior.

Cheers,

Alex

Hi,

Have you maintain the correct sign (+/-) with maximum condition value?

For example,

The maximum condition value is 100, and the condition value in the document is -140, then the maximum check does not work.

Hi,

Please read carefully the following part from note 615370:

C) Copying of condition / billing document:

You should also note that no condition update is carried out for billing

documents (documents with document category 'MNOPSU56', field VBTYP).

...

However, once a new pricing type is triggered in the billing document

that is created, resulting in the system redetermining the relevant

condition type, the condition basis and the condition value are

determined in accordance with the condition update without taking the

upper limits into account.

This means the condition update will not be carried out during the billing creation.

If the condition type ZRPM got redetermined during billing creation, the

maximum condition value you have set will not be considered.

Please check note 24832 about when the condition would get redetermined during

billing creation.

Cheers,

Alex

Thanks yang,

i have checked "SAP Note 927870 - Condition update: KMXAW and KMXWR set incorrectly", it seems that it is use if the reason of rejection value is considering for maximum condition value,

in my cases, this is only incorrect in cumulative values for billing values for split line items. coulo u please help us, either such program or SAP Note will correct cumulative billing values.
