Hi All,
You can transfer the Stock from one material to the other in this way -
a)If UOM same for both the materials.
b)If you are not using any one of the material Change that material UOM to the required UOM & make the STO
c)Use alternate UOM in Material Master.
Hope this will solve your Problem,

Pherasath

calculate conversion of litre to kg using spcific gravity of material then,in material master maintain alternate unit of mesurment base on conversion, then do matrl to matrl transfer.

Hi Karthik,
We can do it but the process is little differnt.
First we have to maintain the differnt material no. let name it B.Maintain the gross weight of the material A i.e UOM of article is 1 EA then u can maintain the gross weight as 1 kG.
After that u can do the goods issue(movement type 201) for material A and issue to material B(movement type 202).
it requires some development i have given u the logic u can workout with ur abaper.

The ans is NO.
if you still want it then what you can do is make common basic unit of measure , and maintain other unit of measure in alternate unit of measure.
For more details you can refer to http://sap-materialmanagement.blogspot.com/2009/08/transfer-posting-and-stock-transfer.html
