Hi,

Material to Material transfer is only possible with materials having same Base UoM i.e. SKU.

hi

u can change the unit of storage from 24 pc= 1 case

to 12 pc = 1 case

before this close all open orders and then proceed

Hi,

If the Both the materials are different, then the Base unit of measure for the both the materials should be Same. For eg--either PC or case .

Otherwise you cann't transfer the Material to material transfer.

hi

the stock keeping units should be same for material to material transfer

if u want to do it ur basic unit of measure should be same PCs

now try changing the stock keep unit of 24 pcs =1 case to 12 pcs =1case

now try doing material to material transfer usning MIGO and movement 309

in this case the valuation of parent material will be carry to child

hope it clears

System will check whether the UOM is same or not. In your case the UOM is "pc", you can transfer from x material to y material through movement type 309.

Do 2 movements.

e.g. movement 201 to issue the 24 of material A

and then movement 202 to increase material B with 12.

This will create value differences that will then stay at the cost center.

If you want that the value of theissued material is taken to the receiving material, then you should do this transfer via a production order.
