Material Stock transfer to more than one material during UD

Dear QM masters,

I have some querry regarding stock posting during UD:

Inspection lot quantity is 10 pcs and out of this 10 pcs I want to transfer

2 pcs to material A

3 pcs to material B and

5 pcs to unrestricted stock.

Is there any way to transfer to material A and material B in a single stock transfer transaction of UD?

Please help as this is very critical because now user has to use QA11 multiple times for material transfer to different materials from same inspection lot stock.

You should be able to add one of the extra posting lines (VMENGE08) and config it up just like the one used for posting to a different material.

So you would have two lines. "Post to a different material" and "Post to a different material 2".

In this manner you could post to 2 different materials. But not 3.

Thanks a lot for solution. But I have few more questions:

1) How to change text appear in stock posting screen for type of posting, can we have text in stock posting tab as "Other Material-2"? By default system takes defined text of VMENGE08 "Other qty. posting".

2) Can't we use VMENGE09 as well for material to material transfer psoting, so that we can transfer to 3 different materials (one using standard option, second using VMENGE08 and third using VMENGE09) ?

You use CMOD to change the VMENGE08 text. you cannot change or use VMENGE09. (See not 304473)

See OSS note 953353 as well as this may apply to your system.

Hi,

For your scenario you can do 2 thing at time.

1. 3 pcs to material B ( By click New material in QA11 under Insp stock tab.

2. 5 pcs to unrestricted stock (You can directly post unrest column)
