Material Planned Prices - Sales Order Costing

Dear CO friends,

The “Costing view” of the material master record, has 3 sets of fields for the “Planned Price” and “Date from”.

There is no “Date To” field.

The actual scenario is that the Planned price 1 is valid for a specific period of time. At the end of this period I need the Planned price to be deactivated (equal to zero).

The system prohibes the entry of Planned price = 0.

Planned Price Date From Date To (does not exist)

120€ 01/02/07 31/03/07

0€ 01/04/07 31/12/9999 Price 0 Not allowed

Are there any ideas how to implement the above?

Thanks in advance for yr time.

Regards,

Elly

Hi Elly

When you run the std cost estimate, when you mark the estimate, it updates the planned price and when you release the estimate, the planned price is shifted to current std price.

Further you are confusing with planned price and planned price1.

Hi Suraj,

My final product has components. The components prices are retrieved from "Planned Price 1" field of the material master (according to the Costing Variant > Valuation Variant -> 4 Planned Price 1).

What I need is this: This Planned Price 1 should be used during a specified period of time. After that I would like the system to create a cost estimate with the error " Cost estimate for material 2400004044 / plant 1001 is incorrect" Message no. CK168.

The "Planned Price 1" has only "Date From" and not "Date To", that is what I am missing.

I hope now is more clear.

Thanks

Elly
