Material number ranges-MMNR ECC 6.0 EHP

Dear All,

I am unable to maintain and assign number ranges for material types.The screen is same in edit as well as display mode unlike for other EHPs.Does any body worked on EHP 6.0 .Please suggest me how to maintain number ranges.

If you don't install SAP notes, I have this solution.

There are 3 tables

1. NRIV with object MATERIALNR, here you find your number range id.

2. TNRGT with object MATERIALNR, field NUMBER1 is for internal number range id, field NUMBER2 is for external number range id. and TXT for group text

3. T134. field NUMKI is for internal number range id, field NUMKE is for external number range id.

Data in 3 tables should be consistency. For temporary using, I directly modify data in table to solve the problem of external number range which always not assign to field NUMKE.

My steps are

1. run report RSSNR0T1, object MATERIALNR to clear junk number range.

2.  t-code MMNR, set as much as possible.

3. check data in 3 tables and correct them.

4.  run report RSSNR0T1 again.
