how to update ABC incidator in the material master automatically, any configuration setting ism there

Raj,

There is no config,

If you are looking at updating the ABC indicator in MRP views then you need to schedule the Program "RMCBAB20" in background if you want for a list of materials to be done. If it is few materials in transaction MC40 you can use the "Change ABC Indicator" function button in the report output to change for specific materials.

hi brahmankar,

where we can get the spl procedures. pls give the menu pah.

automatically using ABC analysis To do this, choose 
   Special procedures -> Cycle counting -> Set CC indicator from the Physical Inventory menu.

Hi brahmankar,

i execute the mibc and check the material master. but auto update was made in the abc indicator field.

pls explain what i need to do in the MIBC .

Dear,

First go to OMCO and do the setting for ABC indicator cycle counting.

In the selection screen of MC40, MC41 and MIBC transaction you can have to choose a box that will update the fields in material master immediatly when running the report.
