Material ledger already productive - Not able to assign period in OMSY

Hey experts

I have to change the posting period in OMSY but it is saying *The Ccod cannot be initialized*. I tried deleting the assignment of plant to company code but It is saying the *Material ledger is already active*. Also, i cannot close the period through MMRV/MMPV. Is there any way to deactivate the material ledger so i can delete the plant assignment temporarily and assign the posting period in OMSY and re-activate the material ledger.

Hello anmol25,

If material ledger is already active then go to transaction OMX1 and untick the ML activation box for your valuation area and check.
