Hi Experts,

I have an Issue.Pls. treat this on Prioriy basis:

User created material document numbers from 5000000400 to 5000000410, in which numbers 5000000401 to 5000000409 are missing. The numbers couldn’t be found in the display nor in MB51,mb03 (material doc list ). In the display page of the missing nos the following message is displayed at the bottom of the screen as --- “ document does not exist in calender year 2007. “

Checked out the table MKPF, gave the mat doc num range from 5000000400 to 5000000410... THE RESULT WAS IT DISPLAYED ONLY 5000000400 & 5000000410.rest were not to be seen even in the Table MKPF.What could have been the reason? Pls. suggest!

Hi Farrukh,

Appreciate your quick response! I simulated the scenario. But, That does not mean the Document goes missing..I could find the material document, simulated the way you said in MKPF table...Only, that the stock does not get updated...

Awaiting solutions, am trying out from my own as well...

how can you know that the user created 10 documents?

From where you do have this info?

IF you have print outs showing all this numbers, then check SM13 for posting failures.

If SAP buffers 10 numbers and you create only one document, then the other 9 numbers get lost, if the buffer gets cleared.

If you dont want that then execute SNUM for object MATBELEG and change the numbers in buffer

Hi Maria

I previously faced the same error.

I did My config changes in assigning the output types for GR. i.e WE03. It worked for me.

Hi Maria

The problem is faced because of the Out put type assigned to the GR. NO transaction has happened even though you have material doc number generated.

Go to same transaction MIGO . give the purchase order number and Check on Collective print.

when you save material doc gets generated but stocks are not updated.

If you open the material Doc you will find the error message “ document does not exist in calender year 2007. “

So check your Output or message types. This should resolve the issue.

On the other hand if you have not ckecked on the print and carried out your MIGO you wont find any error.

Hi,

As suggested it might be number range skipping.

Thanks

Hi,

This is happening because of buffering of number range your numbers are skipping

by 10 from material document number range

There is a specific SAP OSS note on this

Please log to SAP
