Mass Creation of Business Users in SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Hi SAP Community,

Is there any way to create business users in bulk in SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Currently, the employees and BP are created from our third-party system, and it is very time-consuming to create the business users manually in the "Maintain Business Users" app.

Could you please support us to make our life easier?

SOAP Interfaces such as WorkforcePersonMasterDataReplicationRequestResponse_In or MANAGEBUSINESSUSERIN might be suitable if a 3rd party system is involved

I agree with the approach from Enda.

• You can use the API to interface between S4HC and the 3rd party system, this will be something that will involve a few extra steps, but will be better for a long-term solution, so you don´t need to deal with spreadsheets or incorrect/missing data.

• What I could suggest if you would like to give a try is to use the approach from the Import Employees App, this worked for me in the past and probably can help you too.

1. Use the App: Import Employees, Get the CSV Template, Fill it, Import the Data to S4HC.
2. Use the App: Maintain Business Users, Click on Download, then Download for IDP to get the template for IAS (select only the new employees/business users).
3. Go to IAS (Identity Authentication Service) and Open the App: Import Users, Select your application (Starter System, Test Tenant, etc), click on Import users, Upload the CSV File (IDP file) and send the emails.

Have you tried using the app Import Employees ?

it allows you to mass create from an excel sheet uploaded into the app

The employee and BP creation will be done from our third-party system.

From my point of view, we can't use this approach, we only need the business users.

Do you have another idea?
