MARV Issue

Hello Experts,

We are facing an issue with the MARV table value.

We didn't touched these values neigther through OMSY not through MMPI, but the MARV table values are got included in a TR.

With the transportation of that TR those MARV values are also get transported to quality system.

Can any body please explain me why these values get included in the TR.

Is there any indeirect link for this table with some other transactions.

Hi Satya,

I see that you have been posting several queries around these posting periods.

Please note that, MARV table is updated only thru OMSY and/or MMPI customizing.

(you can check this in SM30 as well for MARV table)

Only in the above case, a TR is recorded.

Incase of MMPV, no changes are recorded in TR.

Please check change log of OMSY and MMPI to be sure.

I am still in searching of the correct answer thats why am posting the issues.

I know that the only possibilities for the MARV table change are OMSY and MMPI.

But we didnt touched these tcodes at any time.

But i am wondering that those values got included in the TR. How is it possible???

Is there any link for this tablewith any other table values or tcodes?

Please tell me how to check the change log for OMSY?

In OMSY, go to menu Utilities-->Change logs.

Give the date range and check the log.

Hello Yelamuri,

I checked the change logs for OMSY there it is showing nothing .

Changed by, time and every thing are showing as blank.

and the present date showing is 09/2004 this is the first period after upgrade from 4.6.\

if you have a TR in your system, then you know as well the person who created this TR. Ask this person how the TR was created.

As it is possible to create TRs manually and add tables/records manually to a TR......maybe someone thought it is a good idea instead of using MMPI in production to roll a period back.
