Mark material for deletion

Dear experts ,

Even after marking a material for deletion , i am able to do the goods movement .

The system however issues a warning message .

I need to change it to an error message .

How do i do it ?

maintain message M7 127 as error message in OMCQ.

Thanks the issue is resolved .

Two ways , either block the material for procurement in basic data 1

or

Convert the warning to error for message M7 127

Delete the materials with mm06 and run the Archive Program: SARA

here u can convert warning message into error

You can also change the status of material in the purchasing view of materail master.

There is one field called Plant-sp.matl status in purchasing view, please select the appropriate value and save the materail.

Or you can change the config of error message,which u r getting from W to E.

Yes you are correct, system will warn you while making the GR doc...This is because the MMR is still stored in the table but not deleted...

and make the changes..

Hi,

In standard SAP, if the material is marked for deletion you can't create PO, but all open documents can be processed.
