Former Member

Hello All,

I have enabled JEXC Condition in purchase order which is getting replaced in tax structure with JMOP value,

The amount of basic duty is correctly replacing with JMOP amount but 2%(JEC1) & 1% (JA1S) Cess is not getting calculated.

Please guide me to have it corrected

Regards,

Jigar

Hi,

- Refer note 804424 for ECS/SECESS & make the relevant customising changes.
- In excise default table J_1IEXCDEF that JEC1 should be repleaced with JEX1 and SECESS  condition should be replaced with JHX1
- Assign 352 against the subtotal "calculated call" in tax procedure.
- Check the tax clsiification settings also once in path below.
SPRO- logistics general - Tax on Goods Movements - India - Basic Setting
- Condition-Based Excise Determination - Classify Condition Types

Then test the process once again.

Hi,

How is J_1IEXCDEF table maintained for ECS and SECESS?

Are all your ecs and secess conditions classified correctly in J_1IEXCDEFN if your tax procedure is TAXINN?

Hi,

JEC1 should be ECSSETOFFP . In your case from the above attachment I can see it is JAX2.

correct it. In the same way also check for JA1S. Maintain AT1SETOFFP for JA1S. and JHX1 should be 100% condition for secess with AT1SETOFFT in J_1IEXCDEFN.

There should not be any duplicate entries for condition names like ECSSETOFFP, ECSSETOFFT etc.. the names should be assigned to only one condition type

Hi,

Is JVRD classified correctly?

No other condition type should have the name which JVRD has in J_1IEXCDEFN table.

Also check if any target tax code is assigned to JVRD if yes remove it

Dear Brinda,

Thanks for your Valuable reply. I am able to make required entries manually now,

One More help I need in our Import Process.

We are importing several consumables for our finished Product and the list of items exceeds 30 lines per PO.

Now to record the clearing & forwarding expenses for the entire consignment we are manually dividing the expense and assigning it to each item(30 items) as per the value of that item.

is there any easier way to record this on header level and it should get inventorized to each item in that PO according to the value.

Thanks

Jigar

Hi Jigar,

No for Imports there is no other option to enter the amounts. It should be done manually only

Hi Jigar,

if you want to have the automatic flow of value in the pricing procedure for your clearing and forwarding condition types for which you are manually maintaining now, create a condition record for these condition types in MEK1 trx with the combination of plant and material, so that during the PO creation the value flows automatically.

copy the condition type of  FRB1 so that you can able to achieve this.

velu
