The PIR are reduced as soon as you do GR for production order...

Dear rafiq,

PIRs only disappear when you deliver the material against any sale order to customer or post it to cost center.

Check it and revert back for further clarification

Thank you very much.

I've realized the PIR only gets deduced when I do a GI to a Sales Order

Dear,

Please maintain this setting in material master,

Maintain strategy group 11 on the MRP screen.

Set the Mixed MRP indicator to 2 on the MRP screen.

Maintain the Availability check field so that you perform an availability check without the replenishment lead time (checking group 02 in the standard system).

Check the MRP type also?

In MD62 pls check Check whether you have put Requirement type as BSF?

Also check planning file entry in MD21?

Goods Receipt - minus the quantity for the oldest planned independent in demand management.

For e.g. if PIR is 100 and delivery 90, PIR becomes 10 (withdrawal 90).

Make sure the requirements(PIRs) are Active requirements (check on Active tab) in MD61

Hi,

Check the MRP type - PD, Lot size - EX and Select Gross requirements planning in the field Mixed mrp in the Material master.

Check the PIR settings in MD61. Requirements type must be Gross requirements planning(Bsf).

Now rerun the MRP.

Check it and revet back.
