Hi,

I m getting a error while payroll processing for an employee having a loan.

The error is as follows:

"

Loan (CLAN, 01) ends on 28.02.2010, although the loan was not completely

repaid in period 11.

Extend the validity period for this loan, or increase the repayment

or special repayment in the period.

"

The Problem with this employee is he as completely paid the loan in the month feb 2010. Actually we have implemented SAP HR from April 2009 and the employee has taken the loan since nov 2008, but in infotype 45 the payroll guy has entered the folowing details:

In PA30

Infotype 45 Basic Data Tab

Approval date 01.04.2009

Loan amount granted 60,000.00 INR

Loan Amount Paid 60,000.00 INR

Loan Balance 13,100.00 INR on 28.02.2010

End of loan 30.06.2010

In PA30

Infotype 45 Condition

Loan conditions Company Loan

Indiv. interest rate % Indiv. Ref. Interest

Effective interest rte 0.0000 %

Repayment start 01.04.2009

Rpymnt instl. 4000.00 INR

Due to the above details the loan is still coming in its payslip while processing the payroll.

What can we do for this so that the loan should not come in processing and the payslip and also in the FI side also.

And the Loan balance should be zero.

He has taken the loan of amt 60000 and in case if there is no LOPs or any other events if the repayment is 4000 he has to pay t he loan amount in 15 installments

As per the entries the amount has been paid paid by the employee totally with in 11 Months

so , in the month of the feb the total Repayment shd be given as inputs either in Repayment in the conditions tab or give the rest of the entire amount as specail payment in Payment tab because he has paid the entire amount so it will be more than 4000

and please check the validty of date while maintaining this data

Hi ,

Thanks for the reply , just wanted to know what amount should i consider in special repayment and what would be the date so that the balance amount would be zero and it will not go into FI entry.

yes i got that , here i have to enter new line with the option "Special Repayment" , but what would be the amunt and date ?

Give the Special payment (External) and give the paid month date and the amount that the employee has paid

and process the pay roll

and let me know in case of any error while runnning the pay roll

Hi Sikindar,

I have tried as you said, the Salaray is increase by the amount of special Repayment, and the take home also increase in the pay slip idealy it should not happen.

Generally the Special Repayment is the deduction it shd not get added to Gorss

Once Check the Master Data .......... and also the RT of the /L wage types

Check the Function INLN in the log and let us know wht are the vlaues that are getting generated

The issue is master data related issue
