Link between Billing doc/FI Doc and IDOC

Hi

I have to get IDOC for 460 billing documents posted on different days.

Please let me know if there is any table where I can get IDOC with reference to FI document number (or, billing document number).

I know the manual process - FI document - Environment - Document enviroment - relationship browser -IDOC

Hi,

First of all you will not be able to see the IDOC number against the accounting document. Because IDOC post the billing document, not the FI posting. Therefore IDOC stores only the billing document number.

Let's say you have all billing document numbers relevant to your FI accounting docs. And then lets see how to get the IDOC no for a given Billing document no.

For this you need to analyze the EDIDS table (Status Record (IDoc))

This table holds the IDOC numbers and their status data. There you can find your billing document number under one of these fields.STAPA1 or STAPA2 or STAPA3 or STAPA4.

First do this. Get any IDOC number which you know. Execute this table with the IDOC number in the field DOCNUM. Then see above mentioned 4 fields and see which field holds the billing document no.

Then do in in a reverse manner. Put your billing document numbers under that field (Lets say STAPA1) and sexecute. Then you can get corresponding DOCNUM (IDOC numbers) you require.

Hi,

Check one of the IDOC's that was posted. And see the status of it. You should be able to see the corresponding billing document number in that status. Then you will have to go to that table, and populate it with that IDOC no. There please find the relevant field with the billing doc no.
