limit a product's production quantity

Hi All experts,

We need limit the production quantity of a specific material. Customer request we only provide limited quantity for different version.

How sap could realize this?

You can use a quota arrangement and set a maximum quantity. Be aware that it will only work for MRP planning and there is no way to block the manual creation of a production order. You may use BAdI WORKORDER_UPDATE to create your own code to do it.
