Leave Request : Supervisor sees own Leave Request instead of employee

Hello,

We are experiencing a production issue in the Portal concerning leave requests.

Scenario

Employee Requests Leave and Submits to Supervisor. Supervisor Receives Employees Leave Request in UWL via Portal

When Supervisor clicks the link in UWL, the entry does not display the leave requested by the employee but instead displays it as if the supervisor has requested leave for himself ?. This is incorrect.

In other words

"requestor name in leave request approval screen is shown as the immediate supervisor instead of the employee who is actually requesting the leave"

This is happening only for this particular employee in Production. all other employees are working fine.

Many thanks. Please assist.

Regards,

Sunil

I ahve requested our HCM consultant to check. In addition, below is the feedback from our HCM developer .

1) Employee no u2018382u2019 raise a leave request. Workitem id is 28540.

2) The owner_ins in table PTREQ_HEADER has a GUID which correspond to employee no u2018167u2019 which is the manager of employee no 382. This entry is wrong as its should correspond to employee no 381 as he has started the Leave request.

Any ideas ?

Thanks.

Hello,

I dont believe this patch will fix the issue as this is a unique case. It works for other employee manager relationships.

It is just this specific employee -- manager relationship. The PTREQ_HEADER entry shows the owner_ins entry corresponding to the manager instead of the employee requesting the leave.

this is inconsisten behavior. in the cases where it is working.

the owner_ins entry corresponds to the employee requesting the leave.

any ideas on this specific issue and how to resolve the PTREQ_HEADER entry inconsistency.

Many thanks.

Sunil
