Hi,

Leave Quota Per year = 17

Leave quota generated per month = 1.41 (fixed)

This quota has been generated from Jan-10 to May-10.

Now policy has been changed w.e.f. 01.01.2010 (Back dated)

New Leave quota per year = 12

Leave quota generated per month = 1.00 (fixed)

How to reduce leaves already assigned to employees.

Right solution will be rewarded full.

Hi,

Tried to open "2013 - Quota Corrections" but there is no subtype into it. Subtype is asked for compulsory.

Is it require to define subtype ?

How to do that ?

Further,

I want to do this for thousands of employees.

I don't want to do Employee to Employee Entry.

Unless there are other considerations not mentioned here, the simple solution is to config the new base entitlement to be effective 01.01.2010, then force retro the quota calculation to 01.01.2010. This should re-calculate all the quotas using the new value.

Please try in the DEV or QA system in case there are any unwanted side-effects.

Base entitlement was already there with 1.41 value.

I delimited it from 01.01.2010 with new value 1.00.

Now new allocation (June onward) is perfectly working with 1.00 value.

But how to reduce quota which is already allocated from Jan to May.

I use PT60 with a customised schema. The schema only processes leave quota generation.

On PT60 there is a field for"Forced recalculation as of ". Here I'd enter the date 01.01.2010, and it would recalculate all quotas for the from that date.

Have used this successfully on a number of occasions when quotas have needed to be retro-calculated.

Which Schema to take in PT60.

Is it TQTA?

I can't give you a direct answer on that one, because it depends the mechanism you currently use for quota generation.

Please bear in mind that when you do the retro, all quotas will be re-calculated for the period specified, not only the one which was re-configured.

Perhaps one of the gurus on the forum can advise you further.
