Hello, Does someone know how i can make a landed costs document and affect directly to my broker balance?

I am not able to change the journal created by the document?

Does someone know whats the purpose of the broker field in the landed costs document?

Hi Jacobo

In Administration > Setup > Purchasing > Landed Costs, you can set the offset account used by the journal for the expenses and under Administration > Setup > Inventory > Customs Groups you can set the offset account for the customs duties. Then post a service invoice against the broker to the same offsetting account. The broker on the Landed Cost is for informational purposes and does not affect posting to this supplier account at all.

Hello Jacobo,

The Broker's balance will only be updated when actual AP Invoice posting is made for the additional costs.

You may check this Note 1086559 (Suggested Procedure when Recording Landed Cost). The Note is more applicable to 2005 version though since in 2007 version, the journal entry posting is automated; but you may get some tips on the process.
