Kanban Status Change fron Green to Red automatically

Dear All,

I am doing Kanban process with external procurement directly to shoo floor.

It is working fine manually..

When ever we change the status in PK13N from Green to Red Schedule agreement is generation automatically. Then when I do the Goods Receipt In MIGO , The status is changing from RED to GREEN automatically..this is fine .

But when consumption happens (Goods Issue) stock get empty then status is not updating automatically from green to red.

Please help me out in this case how to configure the system so that whenever the stock get empty system as to create the schedule lines automatically i.e Status have to change from Green to Red automatically.

Note we don't have any Bar Code system.

Hello Ravi,

If you use a replenishment strategy with direct transfer posting, the goods receipt is posted as soon as the kanban status is changed to EMPTY means Red. This means that there is no sense in the "Separate goods receipt" indicator here as the status change to FULL tmeans Green and the goods receipt posting are always separated.

Hi,

If you have many Kanbans it is not a good thing not to have bar codes, since you have change statuses manually without errors.

In classic Kanban stock consumption will not trigger Kanban EMPTY status. The whole concept of Kanban is visual.

Nevertheless, there's another type of Kanban, with quantity signal, that can do it. The thing is, that you have to report consumption twice to make it work, since it is not based on normal stock movements!
