Hi all,
Can anyone tell me the importance if J1id? What is the role in capturing excise?. I also want to know the navigation path of J1id?

use Tcode J1iln
check for the master data. u can see j1id tcode in SEA
It provides data during capture & post of EX. invoice
Go to Transaction J1ILN
there you can see CIN related T codes.
Go to Master data
there u can find J1ID.

J1ID is the master data for maintaing the excise data/
there u can maintain the details abt the material, vendor, plant, then accessable valuue etc.
