IW46 log not created

Hello all,

Our users sometimes post hours via CAT2 in a month that is already closed, SAP will create a log and the actual posting will not be made. The confirmation can be reviewed in COFC and normally they can be reprocessed via IW46.

Current situation:i can see the error postings in COFC, but I can not find any log in IW46.

Anybody any idea whats going on? Why is there no error log created in IW46?

If its correct that there is no error log in IW46, how should I continue processing the error confirmation (so the costs are visible)?

Hi Peter,

Its probably because the user performed an IW41 and got an error costing message, but decided to save the confirmation anyway.

Hi Pete,

I can actually find the corresponding confirmation in CAT2 and i can find the record in CATSDB. So i expect that this part went as instructed.

Then did someone delete the IW46 record?

See if there's anything in table AFRH

Hi Pete,

So i have checked the table and it's empty. I have been checking the errors and my question is now, will all errors end up in IW46? are there some exceptions?

like:

Transaction Actual activity allocation has been locked. will this error result in the confirmation to be logged in IW46?
