IW37N - How to select to show the total work for a week

Hello

We are looking into IW37N and are trying to use it as a week-list. It works fine selecting all orders that have planned finished dates within the given week and excluding finished orders statuses and we can follow the development and decreasing amount of work the given week. We also would like to see all orders active in the period, we would also like to see the few orders that are planned with start date last week and finish date next week (assuming that work will be done continusly over the period). Now we can only follow the orders that are planned finished the given week how can we get the list to show also the few orders active that will need resources so the planner wil get a better picture of active orders.

Regards

Ivar

Ivar,

We also would like to see all orders active in the period, we would also like to see the few orders that are planned with start date last week and finish date next week (assuming that work will be done continuously over the period)

How about using the Basic Start Date for the previous week, and the Basic Finish Date for the next week?

We can do that but the intention is to see what are the orders active as in work is beeing done on them this week. Wich orders are we supposed to be finished with this week and also getting the orders that will use resources but not finished this week. We are not intrested in showing the jobs that have planned start and finsh dates next week in this week only jobs planned this week, including big jobs with a long time span.

From my knowledge i think we need several searches but just asking if there was a smart way to get this into one.

regards

Ivar

Hi Ivar ,

1. For work Order in Progress

Ans : Use system status REL . As REL means ready to start with .

2. For orders Planned this week .

Ans : As Pete suggested correctly , using basic start basic finish dates will fulfill your requirement . I hope here job means overall order you are talking about and not an individual operations.

You can mention any dates in basic start and finish . current week or future whatever
