Issues in time management

Hello friends,

Could you please help me out of the below issues.

1)How to configure a public holiday(Ramjan)should be eligible only for Muslim employees.

2)How to configure CL/SL,for Probationary employees should be eligible after completion of probationary period.

3)How to configure "Paternity Leave "is eligible only for male not female.

Hi,

Holiday for specific religion:

When we create the holidays in the holiday calendar we have to specifiy a religion for which the holiday is applicable. Then this holiday is assigned to the company holiday calendar.

Paternaty leave only for male:

You can use BADIs to do the check.

BADI name HRPAD00INFTY

method BEFORE_OUTPUT or AFTER_INPUT or IN_UPDATE can be utilized accordingly.

Suppose you create X001 as absense type for paternity leave.

The BADI for infotype maintainence can be utilized to check if the employee is MALE or FEMALE by checking the IT0002 infotype

also you can check the table PA2001 for absense type X0001. If it has more than two records probably you can throw an error message.

Check for documentation on BADI HRPAD00INFTY with the help of your ABAPer.

Before Output will do the check once you click the create for button

After Input will do the check once you enter the data on the screen

And Update will check when you press the save button.

You can use the User Exit ZXPADU02 to achieve this.

For paternity leave use feature MASEX . return value 2 is for male employees only

For religious holiday, while creating holiday for fixed date, select "muslim" in religious denomination which is linked to IT0002 in master data of an employee

Regarding the PLs and CLs to people under probationery,

Create 2 abs type PL, CL in table T554S

Create 2 abs quota PL, CL in table T556A

Create counting rule for both of these abs types PL, CL in table T556C

Also the deduction rule in counting rule for these leaves

Maintain the field "earliest accrual" in Applicability tab in selection rule as per the requirement Eg: PL for probationery settings..make this field with "Expiry of Probation" also maintain this category in IT0019 for probationary employees.
