issue with range number at VF02 when releasing to accounting

Hi Gurus,

We have an issue with the number range at VF02 when releasing the invoice to accounting.

Error message is "For object RF_BELEG E178, number range interval 6A does not exist FBN1"

But when entering tx-FB1N for Company code E178 , it is not clear where range interval 6A is set for number range assignment.

Where is the range interval entered in sales so accounting document is generated?

Thanks for your quick response.

We added range number 6A in FBN1 and issue with number range was solved, only one more thing:

where in VOFA is assigned the number range for the generation of accounting documents? We can not see for our billing type any assignement to 6A in VOFA.

number range interval 6A does not exist FBN1

System is giving the above error message due to the fact that in VOFA, for your billing type, you have assigned the number range object 6A but the same has not been maintained in FBN1 for Company Code E178. First check for that billing type in VOFA, have you maintained the number range object 6A

please go to SNRO - give object RF_BELEG for company code E178 & maintain number ranges for 6A.

you can do it in FBN1 also.

there will be three push buttons

maintain

change

display

we need to maintain in MAINTAIN.

before maintaining please verify whether number ranges for 6A has been maintained or not.

please follow the steps and proceed this clears your issue.
