Maintained the SSO and Jco connections between EP and ECC system

and a valid user id is also assigned to a pernr's 105 infotype.

we have created some leave types using the standard group and they are properly visible on portal for employee also,

now when we try to test the application by appliy leave using the leave request application on portal.

after filling all details when we click on review button we get below error -

The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:

Please use the new WS12300111 for the absence type in V_T554S_WEB for which you are requesting

this is the NEW WF for leave requuest

ensure all customisation is in place

Check these basic prerequisites if at all you missed

if the employee has a line manager to default as approver

if the employee has appropriate period workschedule defined else use PT01

if the required abs quotas generated else use RPTQTA00 for that Esgrp & PSgrp

Use TCODE PTARQ dashboard for further testing the environment

Hello,

First check if you can reproduce the issue via the PTARQ transaction.

1. T-code PTARQ

2. Test Application

3. Enter the pernr

4. Create the Request.

Check the behaviour. If it's ok, there must be something wrong with your portal.

Try to run the service directly then:

http://HOST:PORT/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/ess~lea/LeaveRequest

This would lead to the root cause of the issue.

Kind Regards,
